2019: The Year of the Bathroom Renovation

2019 is the year of the bathroom renovation!

We’re a few months into 2019, and it looks this is the year of the bathroom renovation! We’re pretty stoked about it.

James is booked up with bathroom renos. Big bathrooms, little half-baths, shower stalls and master suites in family homes, ski condos, and one big ol’ baller of a house.

This is particularly great because James and I talked a lot about work over the Christmas holidays, and we realized something…

Bathrooms are where it’s at with home renovations.

  • James is good at them,

  • He enjoys the work, and

  • They’re incredible for clients (both for how much a nice bathroom improves daily life and the value it adds to a home).

So if you’ve got a crappy, old, wonky, weird, tired, drab, or downright dingy bathroom, bring it on. James will make it shiny and great!

(Though you might have to wait a bit. He’s booked up until summer right now. But come summer? Then bring it on!)

Bathroom renovation ideas

Want some ideas for your bathroom renovation? Take inspiration from one of the bathrooms James just finished. Check out the before and after pictures below.

Now, it is very important you do not confuse the before pictures with the after ones. You will get a pretty distorted idea of James’ work if you do!

So here is my handy hint: The before pictures are the ones that do not look like how you’d want your bathroom to look. The after pictures are the ones that you think look amazing!

(Also, the before ones have “before” written on them, and the after ones say “after.”)

Okay, now we’re clear, here we go…

A BIG thank you to our wonderful client who invited us in to do this project. They made some fantastic choices with what to include (I particularly like the floor tiles they selected), and we’re honoured to have been able to do this work.
